Grimentz The secret destination for connoisseurs of authenticity

The little village of Grimentz in the Valais is enchanting in every way and presents idyllic surroundings to its guests. Alleyways lined with traditional slate-roofed chalets, rustic granaries, ancient, sun-weathered barns and balconies bursting with purple geraniums in the summertime. Huddled for centuries over their cradle in the Val d’Anniviers, the permanently snowcapped, majestically glaciated summits of the “Imperial Crown”, five rocky giants consorting with the stars at an altitude of more than 4000 metres, look down on the scene.

Far from the bustle of the world, the village offers exceptional authenticity and easy living at 1600 metres above sea level. Grimentz is a place to get away from it all where life is, quite simply, beautiful.

So prepare yourself to come and breathe the air and taste the good life in Grimentz.

All year round

In each of the four seasons, Grimentz - the central point of the spectacular Val d’Anniviers - invites you to discover the countless wonders of a natural world as abundant as it is intoxicating. The magic never ends.

Gain some height:
the slopes are where the fun is

Linked by Switzerland’s 3rd-longest cable car to the neighbouring resort of Zinal, Grimentz gives you access to 48 ski runs totalling 115 kilometres, spread out at your ski-tips across 620 hectares of fresh snow. With pistes that are sometimes wide and smoothly contoured, sometimes technical for more practised skiers, or sometimes softer, for beginners, the Grimentz ski area will suit all levels of ability.

Get off the beaten track in winter

To ring the changes on the downhill fun, Grimentz-Zinal offers a long list of winter activities: the Funpark and SnowPark, ski cross, Nordic skiing, cross-country pistes and toboggan runs, hiking and snowshoeing trails and a natural skating rink. The Gardes de Bordon freeride area adjacent to Grimentz-Zinal extends across more than 100 hectares. Comprising steep slopes and dizzying walls, it is the exclusive province of extreme skiers and snowboarders.

In summer, a factory of memories as large as life

If wall-to-wall mountains are your thing, this is an unspoilt paradise with 100 kilometres of trails. You can wander endlessly here, and you can also indulge in activities to get the adrenaline pumping: paragliding, the Moiry via ferrata, rock climbing and a pump track for BMXers, mountain bikers, skateboarders and rollerbladers that you can even scooter down!

RENTAL PROFITABILITY :
why invest in Grimentz?

Over the past three years, Grimentz has risen among the top 20 ski resorts for investors. With an estimated 10% increase in property value over the last two years, this trend is expected to strengthen, notably due to the decreasing supply of secondary residences in Switzerland. Grimentz presents an investment opportunity not to be missed, with its stunning landscapes and growing tourist appeal.
